It's officially spring and spring fever has hit me. It's time to get out and do some rockhounding. I look forward to this time of the year to get out in the desert and do some rockhounding. It's always exciting to get out and see what has been uncovered from the winters rain and snow. You ever know what you will run across here in the Owyhee's. The snows melting and it's time to start rockhounding. We took a trip out to Graveyard Point in Oregon a few weeks ago to look for some Graveyard Point Plume agate we found some of the best Regency Rose Plume agate I have ever seen. It is just loaded with colors, plumes in Reds, yellows, pinks,, orange and white. It is just beautiful material and cuts killer cabs in this high grade material.
